Easter Nursery Weekly Plan April 6th-10th, 2020


Dear Family, 
This is a special and different week. We are going to be doing fun easter activities which involve all the family. Is a nice week to spend time as a family and enjoy everyday we have together. Here you are going to find outside activities, crafts, indoor activities, games, story and cooking as well. Hope you enjoy your week. Remember to send us pictures and videos!

To start of the week let's see, sing and dance like the easter bunny! 
You can use thins song through your week. 



We can also see the Easter Hunt Story for children, so they can understand what it means and the spirit to celebrate! 



MONDAY
We are going to create a sensory bin. 
For this bin we need: 
  • white rice
  • rubbing alcohol
  • green food coloring (optional) 
  • eggs ( draw and paint your own eggs, use cereal, jelly beans or any candy available)
  • egg carton
  • pipe cleaners, thread, wool, cord  (optional)
  • Sharpie or any marker
  • bucket or plate
Instructions: 
1. Paint the rice using food coloring and let it dry. If you don't have food coloring you can leave it white. 
2. Cut the egg carton in parts having a total of 5. 
3. Write the number on each part
4. Than make 1 hole on each side and put the pipe cleaners, thread, wool, cord. 
5. But in the eggs or material you are using as eggs. 
6. Put everything inside the bucket and you have your own Sensory Easter Bin!
Remember the eggs are to find, count and put them inside each number

TUESDAY
Water balloons: outside activity!
1. Grab all coloured water balloons. 
2. Add a drop of paint inside the balloon. (optional)
3. Fill them with water (not to much so they look like eggs)
4. Put them in a basket and take them outside. 
5. Enjoy and send pictures!
The objective is to practice throwing using left and right hand, from the top and from the bottom. 

WEDNESDAY
Let's make our own bowls and let's play Bowling! 
You can use any recycling bottle you have at home and a ball. Decorate them or not, it's optional. At least have 5 bottles. 
Count the bowls that fall and practice your number counting!
Picture A: plastic bottles, put a small amount of paint and water inside let it try and it's painted already.
Picture B: only put water and food coloring. 
Picture C: using kitchen recycling bottles. 

THURSDAY
Make your magic easter bag!
Let's use recycling materials you have at home. Paint, draw and create your own Easter bag for your easter hunt! 

Plastic Juice Box or you can use carton juice box too.               Egg Carton and a cloth to hold it. 


FRIDAY
Egg Painting and egg hunt!
1. Parents helps your kids to do this part of the procedure. Follow the instructions in the video. (optional) If you can't do this part, than cut paper eggs color, paint and enjoy. 





 

EGG HUNT!
You can do your egg hunt inside or outside. Hide the eggs for your child. Than have them grab the easter bag they did and find all the eggs. You can also hide chocolates or candies. Enjoy and send pictures!
