Early literacy: Write the word In this activity the children will write the correct word underneath the corresponding picture .
Maths: Counting to 20 With this math activity we will count to 20 then we will trace ,write and paste numbers 1-20
Gross Motor: Stomp the Bug! With this gross motor activity we will draw bug shapes on the ground with chalk and the leader will call out a shape and the child will jump to that shape. Stomping the Bug!
Tuesday May 12 th

Early literacy: I can read and match With this literacy activity the children will read words and match the pictures with the correct words building on their sight words.
Maths: How many ladybugs In this activity the children will complete the Addition equations.
Gross Motor: Alphabet Bug Spray In this activity we will draw bugs on the ground with sidewalk chalk putting a letter of the alphabet inside each. We the leader calls out a letter the child will spray the correct letter with a spray bottle of water.
Wednesday May 13
Story: Flecther and spring time by Julia Rawlinson A story about a sweet little fox and his world as it changes from winter to spring .
Song: springtime dance
Early literacy: Spring Syllables The children will clap out the number of syllables in each word and circle the corresponding number.
Maths: Missing Sums Addition The children will complete these addition equations.
Gross Motor Move like a Bug The leader will call out a type of Bug and children will move like the
bug!
Thursday May 14 th
Story: Spring is here by Will Hillenbrand A book about a mole and a bear coming out of hibernation. When the Mole realized that spring is here he jumps out of bed and tries to wake up bear.
Song: Spring Spring Spring
Early literacy Word Family ending In this literacy activity the children will match the correct word ending to picture.
Maths: Ladybug Subtraction The children will complete the subtraction equations.
Gross Motor: Bug Scavenger Hunt The children will go outdoors and hunt for the bugs on their scavenger Hunt sheet marking off the ones that they find.
Friday May 15
Story: When spring comes by Kevin Henkes Watch the world transformation when Spring comes.
Song: Farmer plants the seeds
Early Literacy: CVC word match The children will match the cvc words to correct picture.
Maths: More or less Umbrella With this math activity the children will complete the missing numbers on the umbrella ie in the middle of the umbrella is the number 7 the child would fill in one less 6 and one more 8.
Gross Motor: Pop the Bug Ballon We will draw various bug faces on the balloons and the children will attempt to pop the bug !
