Here is the note of this week activities:

M O N D A Y
Circle Time: We are going to sing some of our favourite nursery rhymes and listen to the story "The feelings book".

STORY TELLING : THE FEELINGS BOOK!

Activity: Freeze Dance Painting.
This can be an outdoor or indoor activity. We are going to put paper in the floor (this can be magazine, white paper, recycle paper, cardboard box), than we are going to put a bucket with paint and water mixed. The child will start coloring by dancing the "freeze dance" song. As the song says freeze they have to stop.
The objective of the activity is having sensory activity, motor skills and following the instructions.

Sensory Activity: We are going to create a Nature soup.
For this we first need to go and explore what nature objects we can get (rocks, flowers, leaves, sticks, fruits). Than put water on a bucket (you can also add food coloring) and start putting in the object one by one. It's important to say the name of each one, what color they are, is it hard or soft, does it sink or float and other characteristics you can find. Have the child use a kitchen instrument to mix.

We are going to have a table that will have different materials. It can be real toy instruments or kitchen utensils. The objective of the activity is to see what things make sound and have the child discover and explore this.
