Song : Reduce , Reuse and Recycle by number rock
Early Literacy: Earth Day Word Search I this activity the children will search out ๐ words and circle them ie Air etc
Maths: Count and Graph : With this activity the circle will count the earth day items and then graph the result by colouring in the corresponding number of squares.
Theme: Recycled Flowers ๐ธ The children will create flowers with recycled materials which you have around the house
Gross motor : Earth Day Yoga ๐ง๐ผ♂️ Your children will flow through a yoga sequence incorporating earth poses Earth pose - bring your fingers together above your head forming a circle ( the earth)
Tree Pose: stand tall bring one foot up on the thigh of your other leg look at one point on the floor in front of you for balance then bring your arms above your head ( the branches) stay for five breaths then switch sides . Butterfly Pose : Sit on the floor put the soles of your feet together with your knees bent and move your legs up and down like a butterfly ๐ฆ Water Pose: Sit with a tall spine and your legs out in front of you. Gently rock back and forth like you are floating on water. Rock Pose: Child’s Posse sit with your knees bent and legs under you then lean forward over your legs and place your forehead on the mat in front of you arms down by your side stay for serval breaths

Early literacy: Earth Day ๐ We will create a earth day book about various ways we can recycle
Maths: Earth Day Add and subtract : The children will complete the equations and based on the answer they will colour the corresponding part of the earth ๐ the correct colour
Theme: Earth Day college: With recycle magazine your child will tear blue and green pictures using the paper to create a college of the ๐
Gross Motor : Milk Jug Toss We will cut two milk jug in half to create our catcher Then attach a yarn ball with a string toss and catch !
Wednesday April 22
Story: Miss Fox’s class goes green by Eileen Spinelli The children in miss Fox class want to go to Roller Coaster Planet but each fund raising attempts end in disaster !

Early literacy: I can help the earth by...... With this writing prompt the children will write a draw different ways which they could help the earth....hint reduce, reuse and recycle
Maths : Water Cycle we will discuss the water cycle and complete the cut a paste water cycle activity
Theme : Earth Day Pledge I promise to do my best to protect the earth ๐....the children will choose which options speak to them .
Gross Motor: Recycle bubble blower snake We will use a recycled pop bottles as the bubble wand cover with white sock put drops of food colouring on the sock then dip in bubble solution and blow see your colourful snake !

Early Literacy: Water pollution observation We will observe two bottle of water one of which is just from the tap and the other just from the tap as well however place some garbage in this bottle and see what happens to the water the record your observations
Maths : Earth Day count and Tally In this earth day activity you I’ll count earth day items and tally the total
Theme : Earth Day Crown. We will colour and create our Earth day crowns which we can wear !
Gross motor :Around the world We will get a blanket and a blue ball or ballon and we will place the ball on the blanket and toss it in the air or roll it around the world !
Friday April 24 th

Early literacy: Earth Day flip book The children will create their own flip book about reduce , reuse and recycling
Maths : Add and colour The children will complete the addition equations and colour the corresponding colour given to the value of the sum
Theme: Earth Friend recycle Sort
The children will colour cut and paste the pictures in the appropriate recycle space
Gross Motor : We will go on a walk and check the nature items off the list as they find them !
